a) Information you provide directly

• Contact & identity: name, email address, phone (optional), country/time zone.
• Course preferences: program of interest (e.g., Small Group Coaching, Workshops, Personalised Coaching, Mentorship), cohort/date preferences, goals and notes via forms.
• Enrollment & support: messages you send us, bookings for strategy calls, survey responses, testimonials or feedback.
• Payments (Mentorship): processed by Stripe. We receive payment confirmations and customer details (e.g., name, email, card brand/last 4), but we do not collect or store full card numbers.

b) Information collected automatically

When you use our site we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser/device information, pages viewed, referring/exit pages and timestamps (via server and security logs).

c) Information from third parties

• Google Forms/Sheets: EOI and mailing-list responses are stored with Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Email platforms (if used): we may store subscription status and engagement metrics (opens/clicks) to improve communications.

2) How we use your information

• Provide and improve our services (coaching, workshops, mentorship).
• Send dates, schedules and next steps for EOIs.
• Manage enrollments, payments and customer accounts (Mentorship via Stripe).
• Respond to enquiries and provide support.
• Send educational content, service updates and marketing (where permitted).
• Maintain site security, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Legal bases: consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (e.g., running a secure website and improving services), and legal compliance.

3) Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

• Service providers / processors such as Google (Forms/Sheets, spam protection), Stripe (payments), WordPress hosting/security/caching, and email platforms (if used).
• Professional advisors (accounting, legal) as needed.
• Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, property or safety.

These providers may process data in Australia and other countries (including the United States). We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

4) Cookies & tracking

Our website uses cookies to operate securely and reliably (e.g., performance, security and preference cookies). You can control cookies in your browser settings. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.

5) Marketing communications

If you opt in (for example via our Google Form), we may email you study tips, schedules and program updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us at hello@thenestcentre.com.

6) Data retention

• EOI/enquiry data: generally kept up to 24 months after your last interaction (or longer to manage ongoing enquiries/waitlists).
• Mentorship/payment records: retained for at least 7 years to meet tax and record-keeping laws.
• Marketing list: kept until you unsubscribe or your email bounces.

We may retain data longer if required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

7) Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information (e.g., TLS encryption in transit, access controls, reputable third-party processors). No method is 100% secure; if we become aware of a data breach affecting you, we will follow applicable notification requirements.

8) Your rights

Australia (APPs)

EU/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Where applicable, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. California residents may have rights to know, access, delete, correct and limit use of sensitive information. To exercise rights, contact us at hello@thenestcentre.com.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

9) Children’s privacy

Our services and website are not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10) Third-party links

Our site may include links to third-party websites (e.g., Stripe checkout pages, booking tools). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
